We’ve only got 10 days left of our whirlwind #ItsOurTime campaign to activate the creative industries to galvanise 2 million climate-concerned young people to register to vote before the deadline of 26 November

The response has been amazing with agencies and individuals donating huge amount of creative and media to the campaign. Last week we came up with another way agencies could use their influence…

Basically we realised that agencies are hubs for the nation’s employers. And therefore that millions of young people can be reached if agencies ask clients and media partners to send an all-staff email encouraging employees to register to vote. So we decided to try and make this happen. Given that we have less than 10 days left until the registration deadline, we need to get savvy about scale. So we want to tool up agencies so they can reach out to their clients who in turn can reach millions of young people.

We’ve created a website for anyone working client-side in agencies with everything you’ll need, draft emails/ assets etc and then links to the employers website, which will have everything your clients and media partners will need to share this with their staff.

Think of it like an inverse pyramid scheme, where everyone wins. Agencies get to strengthen client relationships, clients get to demonstrate to their staff and customers that they care about the planet, and young people get the opportunity to have a say in their future.

To reassure anyone who is worried about this being political, #ItsOurTime is a politically neutral voter registration campaign— we don’t want to tell young people how to vote, we simply want to make sure they are registered to vote.

So if you work in an agency, please do share this with all your clients, or at least your biggest ones. And if you work in a big employer, please do send out an all staff email. This is a simple thing, but it could make a really big difference. A third of 18–30s aren’t registered to vote. We have the opportunity to turn that around in the next ten days if we roll up our sleeves.

Everything you need is here. This really is our time to make a difference 💪💪💪
